After graduating from The Royal Ballet School, I spent 20 years as a soloist with Birmingham Royal Ballet, performing globally in cities like New York, Tokyo, and Beijing. This journey allowed me to engage with renowned choreographers and perform a vast repertoire. I also had the privilege of choreographing for prestigious brands such as Selfridges and Pandora UK.
As my career evolved and I became a mother of two, I realised the profound impact of sharing my knowledge. I transitioned to post-professional training, becoming a certified postural stability coach specialising in falls prevention, and actively contributed to the government’s Dance to Health scheme, offering weekly classes to at-risk adults.
Expanding my expertise, I trained at YogaBody in Barcelona and earned a 200-hour Hatha Raja Yoga teaching qualification under Ambra Vallo in London. I also developed an aerial yoga program at a local climbing centre and transitioned my ballet coaching and yoga classes online, connecting with students as far as Canada.
Today, I leverage my extensive ballet background to offer private coaching for all ages, providing an insider’s view into the world of ballet. My aerial yoga classes focus on the unique benefits of inversions, such as spinal decompression, to enhance alignment and posture.
